Vera Elmina Moulton, a Prineville resident, passed away on Oct. 13, 2006, at Pioneer Memorial Hospital, in Prineville, Ore. She was 70 years old. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2006, at Prineville First Church of the Nazarene. Reverend Warren Powell will be officiating. Vera was born in Lakeview, Ore., on Nov. 13, 1935, to Lloyd and Mary M. (Hathaway) Prindle. She attended grade school and completed the ninth grade in Prineville. She married Donald Lloyd Moulton in Spokane, Wash., on July 31, 1992. Vera worked at the Community Center and was a distributor for Watkins Products. Vera attended Prineville First Church of the Nazarene. She loved spending time with the family. She loved to crochet and knit, and butterflies. She made baby blankets for the hospitals. Vera is survived by: her daughters Carol Waterman of Long Beach, Calif., Donna and her husband John Ward of Dorris, Calif., Gail King of Newport, Wash., Gwyn Bell of Dorris, Calif.; and son Ivan "Wes" Moulton of Prineville, Ore.; and brother Dale Prindle of Prineville, Ore. Other survivors include: sisters Mary, Lora Waterman, and Daisy Olmstead, all of Prineville, Ore., and Dora and Kathy Gentry of Lakeview, Ore.; 14 grandchildren and four great- grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Moulton, in 2003. Memorial contributions may be made to the local Hospital Nursery or the First Church of the Nazarene, of Prineville. Arrangements are in the care of the Prineville Funeral Home. |
