Flossie enjoyed raising flowers too, especially roses, petunias, and the Martha Washington Geraniums. She painted in oils too. She was a longtime member of the Prineville Missionary Baptist Church.

She was very family oriented and loved her grandchildren, great grand children, and her Boston Terrier, “Meg.”

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Otto (2003), and one brother, William Culpeper (2002).
