Patricia Morgan

Patricia Greenwood Morgan, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2006 at the age of 87. She passed away at East Cascade Assisted Living in Madras, Ore.
   Patricia was born on December 2, 1918 to John and Susan (Watson) Greenwood in Tacoma, Wash. She was born the last of seven daughters. She was, therefore, preceded in death by six sisters. Never had children. At the time of her death, she was a widow and her husband)s name was Francis Bruce Morgan.
   She had two years of college and was in civil service for a Navy supply office of which she was a clerk typist. She served in WWII as a Navy Wave and worked as an Aviation Machinist)s Mate.
   She was raised in Gresham and the Orient community in Oregon. Started taking piano lessons at five years of age and was later became a piano teacher. She had a total of 17 years in teaching piano lessons. On the GI Bill she attended business college at Northwestern School of Commerce in Portland. She retired from Civil Service in 1980.
   She had lived in many places and first moved to central Oregon in 1980. She lived in Prineville first, then moved to Madras from Memphis, Tennessee in May of 2000.
   She was one of the Christian Faith and loved little children and her friend. She is survived by her friends and nieces and nephews.
   There will be a memorial service on Friday, Oct. 13 at 7 p.m. at East Cascade Assisted living in building E, Madras, Ore.
   Autumn Funerals of Redmond is in charge of arrangements.
