Ruth Pitman October 04, 2012 Ruth Ann Pitman, 87, a Madras resident, passed away on Friday, Sept. 28, 2012 at her home. A memorial will be held at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Madras on Oct. 10 at 1 p.m. Ruth was born in Omaha, Neb. on Oct. 24, 1924 to Julian and Gladys Chudomelka (McFadden). She was a member of the Oregon Agate and Mineral Society. Ruth is survived by her one son, two daughters, one sister, three grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Pitman. Memorial contributions may be made to the Oregon Agate and Mineral Society, 3435 S.E. 112th Ave., Portland, OR 97266.
