Crook County Little League looking for board members

All but two board of last year's board members are gone

The Crook County Little League held an organizational meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 3.

The meeting was intended to elect officers for the upcoming Little League season.

Unfortunately not enough individuals interested in accepting leadership positions attended the meeting. As a result the board will have a second organizational meeting on Thursday, Oct. 11 at the Crook County Middle School library.

The meeting, which will begin at 6:30 p.m. is an attempt to recruit new members. Volunteers are needed for the board and for several other miscellaneous positions. Acting president Linda Neasham is resigning her position leaving just two current board members.

Without adequate volunteers this year's Little League season is in jeopardy.
