Keith Hurt

Keith Edward Hurt, a Prineville resident, passed away on Monday Oct. 8, 2012 at Ochoco Care Center. He was 70 years old.

A small inurnment service will take place at Juniper Haven Cemetery on Monday, Oct. 15, at p.m.

Keith was born in Venita, Okla on Nov. 4, 1941 to Thomas and Nellie Hurt. He was a long-time resident of Central Oregon. Due to his disability, Keith was never able to attend school. He did however, learn many skills working for the Opportunity Center in Redmond.

Keith will be remembered as a kind-hearted man who loved socializing, bowling, and collecting small toys.

Keith is survived by his brothers, Clifford Hurt of Albany, Ore. and Bradley Hurt of San Diego, Calif.; sisters, Imogene Connett of Redmond, Wilma Ream of Prineville, and Wanda Price of Terrebonne;

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Nellie Hurt, and recently his sister, Shirley Richardson.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Ochoco Care Center, 950 N.E. Elm St., Prineville, OR 97754.
