Carole Ann (Jordan) Fitzgerald

Carole Ann (Jordan) Fitzgerald of Van Horn , Texas, went to see our Heavenly Father on Monday, Oct. 8, 2012.

Carole was born to C.M. ‘Mac’ and Rita Jordan on Aug. 24, 1937, in Klamath Falls, Ore.

She graduated from Crook County High School in Prineville in 1955. She attended nursing school in Bend, and earned her LVN in 1958, in Prineville.

Carole met the love of her life, Ray M. Fitzgerald, at a New Year's Eve dance in 1956. They married on June 29, 1957. They were blessed with two children and 55 years of marriage.

Carole was very strong in her faith and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

She is survived by her mother, Rita Jordan; daughters, Neva Fitzgerald and Barbara Smith; her son, Wade and wife, Tami; four grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Shane and Mina McDonald and husband, Scott; and three brothers, Lee Jordan and wife, Kathy, Clinton Jordan and wife, Vicky and Neil Jordan.

Carole was loved by many and will be missed by all whose lives she touched. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to the charity of your choice.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
