Cowgirls earn IMC recognition

Lindburg, Troutman earn league first-team recognition

Crook County High School volleyball standouts Makayla Lindburg and Hannah Troutman have both been named to the Intermountain Hybrid all-league first-team.

Lindburg, a senior, led the league with 477 kills in just 894 attempts. Lindburg also led the Cowgirls in blocks with 93, while leading Crook County to their seventh-consecutive Class 4A state volleyball championship.

Troutman was second in the league in kills with 420 kills in 857 attempts. In addition, she led Crook County in digs with 377.

Both Lindburg and Troutman were also named to the Class 4A all-tournament team following the state championships.

Also earning all-league recognition were outside hitter Annie Fraser, defensive specialist Ali Apperson, and libero Laken Berlin, who were all given honorable mention honors.
