Fredric (Fred) HallDecember 10, 2012 Fredric (Fred) Lee Hall of Redmond passed away in his sleep at home on Dec. 6, 2012 at the age of 79. Fred was born on Dec. 4, 1933 in Meeker, Okla. to Andrew and Dora (Gilbreth) Hall. In 1935, Fred and his family moved to Oregon. Fred attended school in Central Oregon, finishing his school years in Prineville. Fred played football and ran track in high school. He was selected as All American Football player, he was on the Shriners Football Team and was State Champion in Track in the 100 and 400. He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Korea until his discharge in 1955. On Jan. 12, 1957 Fred married Sharlene Fae Nelson in Reno, Nev. They lived in Prineville until 1963, then Madras until 1975 when they relocated to Redmond. Fred owned and operated Hall Electric, working as an electrical contractor and working side by side with his sons until his passing. He was a past member of the Elks Lodge and a current member of the Oregon Hunters Association. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on the farm, going to auctions and loved watching sports and spending time with his family. Fred is survived by his wife, Sharlene Hall; two sons, Clayton (Heidi) Hall and Clinton (Patty) Hall; three grandchildren, Cory, Raina and Ashley; two nieces, Melody Biggs, Mary Gustafson and one nephew, Andy Martin. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Ruth Martin. A private graveside will be held Dec. 11, 2012 at Redmond Memorial Cemetery.
