The Great Grocery Grab

Staff from the local Papa Murphy’s pause for a photo immediately before the craziness begins in the Great Grocery Grab. The staff have been participating in this event for the past six years, and owners of the local Papa Murphy’s, Jeff and Cheryl Long — who also own the Madras Papa Murphy’s — pay for the groceries and donate them to St. Vincent de Paul. The staff break into teams, and they each get a list of grocery items to fill their basket, and are given six to seven minutes to complete their shopping task. This year’s winners were Tiffany Anderson, Torri Michael, and Magaly Garcia. The winner received a $20 cash award, and second place received a one hour bonus on their paycheck.
