Larry Melvin HaleJanuary 11, 2013 Larry Melvin Hale, 66, died December 29, 2012 in Prineville, Oregon. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Larry was born October 11, 1946 to Melvin and Frances Hale in Oregon City, Oregon. Larry attended school at Crook County High School and graduated in 1962. He also attended Central Oregon Intergovernmental Council where he studied mechanics and graduated in 1964. For 30 years Larry was a fence builder and worked as a timber faller on many ranches. He loved socializing with his friends and attending trap shoots in Paulina. He loved his dogs and was known for his big laugh and sense of humor. He loved helping his friends with cattle brandings or anything else he could help with. Larry is survived by his sister Vera Hale, brother Jerry Hale, long time companion Lindy Huffman, 2 daughters, Tina Young and Gina Reese and by his 2 sons, Levi Huffman and Shane Huffman, Grandchildren, Cheyenne Young and Dalton Young and by his 2 nephews. He was also survived by his beloved dog, Clyde. He was preceded in death by his parents Melvin and Frances Hale and by his brother, Roy Hale.
