Lori Jean Bejot Goldsby

Lori Jean Bejot Goldsby, 51, passed away January 6th, 2013 in Prineville, OR. A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Eastside Church. Pastor Dusty Flegel will officiate.

Lori was born Feb, 6th 1961 to Roger and Getha Bejot in Atkinson, Nebraska. She resided there until age 6 then moved to Idaho in 1966. Lori loved music and performed in the choir at Lowell Scott Jr. High and Meridian High School. As a teenager she was honored to sing for Frank Church, former U.S. Senator, she also won state vocal and teen talent at the Church of God.

She graduated from Glens Ferry High School in 1978 and then married her first husband, Russell J. McGhehey. Together they had 2 children. Lori was active in the churches she attended in music, drama and ministries. On August 19, 2011 she married her current husband, Gary Goldsby.

She loved arts and crafts, was an excellent decorator and was very multi-talented. Lori was firm in her faith and an avid prayer warrior. She had a passion for youth ministries, missions and sharing Christ with others. She loved her family unconditionally and will be greatly missed by all.

She is survived by her parents Roger and Getha Bejot; her sisters, Patricia Clagg, Vonnie Chinn; Vergie Rutherford, and Jennifer Tillberg; her husband Gary Goldsby, Her two daughters, Alicia Lightner and Trisha Petersen, and 4 grandchildren.
