Fern Elizabeth Horn

Fern Elizabeth Horn, 85, passed away Jan. 16, 2013, in Bend. A visitation will be held from 2 to 5 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at Whispering Pines Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, in Prineville. Bishop Bobby Cox will conduct the service.

Fern was born Nov. 17, 1927, in Emmett, Idaho, to William and Rebecca Rynearson. She graduated from Emmett High School in 1945. On June 8, 1946, she married Sidney Horn in Emmett, Idaho. She spent her time being a homemaker. Her hobbies included baking, sewing, and ceramics.

Fern is survived by her husband, Sidney Horn; son, Larry and Della Horn; two daughters, Judy and Tom Trent; and Connie and Bill Hall; 14 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by two daughters, Marsha Knudsen and Cheryle Horn.
