Sidney Clayton Horn

Sidney Clayton Horn, 90, passed away Feb. 1, 2013 in Prineville, Ore. A viewing will be held at Whispering Pines Funeral Home, Friday, Feb. 8, 2013 from 4 to 6 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013 at the LDS Church. Bishop Bobby Cox will officiate. Interment will be at 10 a.m. at Juniper Haven Cemetery, Prineville.

Sidney was born Oct. 18, 1922 to Riley and Nora Horn in Brush, Colo. where he also attended school. He married Fern Reynearson on June 8, 1946. Sidney was a WWII Veteran receiving two purple hearts.

He enjoyed leather work, playing card games, hunting and fishing.

Sidney is survived by his son Larry and wife Della Horn, daughters Judy and husband Tom Trent and Connie and husband Bill Hall, 14 grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren.
