Two students injured in motor vehicle accidentFebruary 20, 2013 Two students were injured Wednesday morning after being struck by a vehicle. According to the Prineville Police Department, a 17-year-old male and a 16-year-old female had stepped onto Lynn Blvd. near Crook County High School, when they were struck by a car. The male suffered an injury to his leg and the female suffered an injury to her arm. Both of them were transported to Pioneer Memorial Hospital for treatment and are expected to fully recover. The driver of the vehicle, a 39-year-old woman, was not injured. The investigation is ongoing and no citations have been issued at this time.
