Judy Louise Syme

Judy Louise Syme, a Prineville resident, passed away on March 8, 2013 at St Charles Hospital in Bend from complications from pneumonia. Judy Syme was born in Weiser, Idaho on Jan. 17, 1949 to Robert and Leona Syme. She graduated from Condon High School in 1968. She went on to Prairie Bible College, Blue Mountain Community College, and graduated from Clackamas Community College with a LPN degree. She was a nurse until her health problems prohibited her from continuing. She was a member of the First Baptist Church where she worked with children in Vacation Bible School, Awana, Good News Club and Children's Evangelism Fellowship programs. She volunteered as camp nurse for many years for Awana Camps. She loved to spend time with her nieces and nephews and their families. She enjoyed traveling to Africa, South America, the Caribbean, San Juan Islands, and all over the United States. She is now on her most exciting adventure....,Heaven! Her memorial will be held at First Baptist Church (Fourth and Fairview), Prineville on March 30, at 3 p.m.
